2022 World Cup and USA National Championship

The ATS Team, Ninja USA, the Ninja Passport and World Obstacle

announced the 2022 US Ninja National Championships and Ninja World Cup USA will be held October 7th through 9th at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Indiana, USA.

The National Championships and World Cup are being produced by Fitness Innovations and The ATS Team in collaboration with the Ninja Passport, Ninja USA, the National Governing Body for Ninja Sport, a member of USA Pentathlon Multisport and World Obstacle.

 

The Ninja World Cup series will include races in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania and culminates in the 2023 Ninja World Championships. Dates and locations will be announced in the coming months.

The World Cup format is a 100m head-to-head speed competition like Ninja versus Ninja and Team Ninja Warrior television shows.

Athletes will also have the opportunity to run on an identical course during a World Cup Invitational Demo Event competition from August 12-14th in Lake Barrington, Illinois, USA.

NinjaUSA World Cup & National Team Trials will run over a 3 day period to crown our very first USA Pentathlon Multisport (USAPM) and NinjaUSA recognized US National Team.

Additionally, the event will award 2 junior national teams ages 9-11 and 12-14.

What is the Ninja World Cup and US National Championship

The Ninja World Cup races are head-to-head Ninja competitions held on a standardized 100m speed course. The format is similar to Ninja versus Ninja and Team Ninja Warrior TV show competitions.

Events are chosen from the 110 counties with national member federations World Obstacle and based on the quality, history and reputation of the race. All Ninja World Cup events adhere to the World Obstacle Code of Conduct and adhere to the World Obstacle Code of Ethics.

Who is eligible to compete?

Anyone who is 15 years of age or older on the date of the competition is eligible to compete.

How do I register for the US National Championship?

You can register for the US National Championship at right here at The Ninja Passport beginning July 7, 2022.

Registrations are $50 per competitor. Every athlete needs a NinjaWorks ID which can be obtained HERE for free if you do not have one already. Additionaly, all competitors will need to have a Ninja USA membership.

NinjaUSA memberships can be obtained on The Ninja Passport website for $25 annually.

Who is Ninja USA?

NinjaUSA is the is the national governing body for Ninja and events in the United States of America. It is a technical committee of USA Pentathlon Multisport (USAPM), which is a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), and a member of World Obstacle, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles.

We are a not-for-profit organization that exists to give voice and vote to Ninja athletes in the United States and provide the pathway to the highest levels of international competition.

Who is World Obstacle?

World Obstacle, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO), is a Swiss based not-for-profit independent international sports organization made up of volunteers to develop obstacle sports and events worldwide. FISO provides governance, systems, and structure to represents the needs of its member national federations and their athlete communities in over 100 countries.

FISO was granted Observer Status of GAISF (the Global Association of International Sports Federations) in 2021, a critical step toward a sport’s potential Olympic recognition.

Who is ATS?

The ATS Team is a Production Company and Set Shop based in Los Angeles specializing in creating original formats, designing, and constructing television competition obstacles and sets. The company is famously known as the course builders for American Ninja Warrior and Ninja Warriorglobal franchise.

Who is The Ninja Passport

The Ninja Passport is a business focused on growing the Ninja sport through growing the ninja Community. The Ninja Passport is focused on providing resources, support, networking, and cost effective equipment and supplies to competitor and training facilities alike.

The Ninja Passport will be handling all NinjaUSA memberships and event registrations.
