As news of the COVID-19 outbreak continues to break with continuing governmental and CDC recommendations, our beloved ninja gyms are temporarily closing on a daily basis. These are gut-wrenching times for everyone and these small business owners are being hit particularly hard.
This is our ninja family and we must all stand together to keep our community strong. We have a few suggestions.
Ideas for Supporting Local Ninja Gyms
Do Not Cancel Your Membership
Of course, you need to do what is best for your family at this time, but if you can, please keep your membership with your local ninja gym. We all feel confident the quarantine will be short-lived and we want to make sure our gym is there on the other side!
Pre-pay For Birthday Parties, Camps and/or Classes
If you know you’re going to want to host a party, visit a camp or take classes after this is all said and done, then consider pre-paying for it now.
Purchase Gift Certificates and/or Merchandise
As we know, anything can be helpful to our ninja gym community. If you’ve been thinking about purchasing anything such as t-shirt, some logo swag or anything else, this is a great time! If you can’t find something you’re looking for online, give them a call directly and ask.
Leave a Review
Your favorite ninja gym is that for a reason. This is a great time to share your love. You can leave a gym review here at The Ninja Passport, on Facebook, Google, Yelp or any number of places. Your reviews not only help future athletes decide to visit, they’re also helpful with online search results.
Shoutout on Social Media
Most gym owners are nervous about keeping coaches on staff, paying their mortgage or any number of other bills. A direct financial contribution can help them through these tough times.
For direct contributions, you can call them directly or donate through this GoFundMe that we’ve set up to help facilitate an easy process. 100% of any donations we raise will go your ninja gym of choice.
